A first aid kit is located in the kitchen cupboard.

In the event of any emergency (fire, gas leak, extreme weather, medical issue or intruder):
Ensure personal safety first – Evacuate the building if necessary.
Alert others – Contact emergency services (000) as required.
Meet at assembly point – Outside the supermarket on High Street.
Contact business owner – Notify the owners Jane or Jamie Dowsley on 0456 361 246
Do not re-enter – Only re-enter the property when emergency services declare it safe.

FIRE SAFETY
Smoke alarms are installed and tested regularly.
Fire extinguisher and fire blanket are located in the kitchen.
No candles or open flames permitted indoors.
Outdoor BBQ must be used with caution and is not permitted on total fire ban days.

BUSHFIRE RISK PROCEDURES
On Code Red or Extreme fire danger days, bookings may be cancelled for guest safety.
A risk assessment is conducted in summer months to ensure all vegetation is kept clear and gutters are maintained.
Guests should register with VIC Emergency in order to be notified by SMS if a high fire risk emerges during their stay.
