History

We purchased 6 High Street Yackandandah in 2021. We completed extensive renovations at the historical 6A High Street over two years, after which we were finally able to commence development of our boutique accommodation in mid 2023.

We’re thrilled to now bring this luxury accommodation offering to visitors of Yackandandah. There is nothing else quite like it in the region, offering both luxury and a central location that is within close walking distance to all the action.

Miette

Petit morceau (de pain, de gâteau…)

Miette (pronounced Me-et) means crumb of bread or cake.

The name was chosen as a link to 6 High Street’s first known use as a French bakery. Louis Stephens arrived in Australia in 1853. He commissioned the first brick building in Yack at 6 High Street in 1857, and baked bread at the site until 1909, retiring aged 87.
